RETAILERS GROUP

Considering that opportunity should be given to "the younger men in retail organisations for discussing problems relating to their work? a meeting was recently convened by the Wellington Junior Chamber "of Commerce to-dis-cuss the formation of a retailers' group. As a result of the keen interest shown by those present and tha fact, as stated by many, that such a group would fill a long-felt deficiency by promoting the exchange of ideas and by general ventilation of retail problems, the forma? tion of the group was proceeded with. Groups already formed «in the junior chamber are: Publicity and public affairs, importers, exporters, transport, and communications, and it is anticipated that as members of the new group will bring a different point of view to the general discussions of the chamber the whole membership as well as ■ those of the new group will reap the benefit of this forward move. ,
