OAMARU, July 1. The Oamaru Jockey Club's Winter Meeting was held in dull and cold weather, and attracted a fauiy good attendance. The track was in good order but a shade on the slow side. The totalisator handled £12,772, compared with £10,862 in 1937, last year's meeting being abandoned because of snow.
