SEATOUN'S FIRST LOSS
Weakness in the forward line was the principal reason why Seatoun, previously undefeated this season, went down to Waterside by 1 goal to 0. Waterside's goal was the only one that has yet been scored against the RUTho gnme^was fast and exciting: in the first half during which there was no score, but after Waterside. throiiKh R. Ward, had opened their account at the start of the second spell. Play deteriorated both in skill and in interest t0 WatcS^fSny deserved their win being a stronger and better balanced team than the losers Seatoun's backs were better than Waterside's, but the B^p between _the attack and defence was so great in Seatoun s case tint it upset the balance of the team. Watersides vanguard was not so in the picture as was Seatoun's, but the winning front line was far more effective, and that gave Waterside their win.
