MUST LEAVE RUSSIA
ABOUT 1000 GERMANS
PREPARATIONS FOR WAR?
LONDON, January 4,
The Warsaw correspondent of "The Times" says it is estimated that about 1000 Germans will be affected by a Soviet expulsion decision, including not only German specialists engaged in Soviet industry but also many German Communists who sought refuge in Russia from the Nazi regime but who have since been stigmatised as not unreservedly loyal to the Stalinist section of the party.
The Riga correspondent of the "Daily Mail" says that the decision is regarded in some circles in Moscow, as being part of the Soviet's preparations for a possible war.
WARSAW, January 4,
It is reported from Moscow that the Soviet Government intends to expel all Germans living in Russia before the end of the month.
