PARIS, January 4.

About 300 cinemas in the centre of Paris are closing today for a Week as a protest against the new cinema tax ranging from 3.6 per cent, to 15 per cent., according to monthly receipts. Proprietors declare that it means raising prices by easily 15 per cent.
