SAVED BY JUMPING SKILL
An incident that missed the eye of many at the Marton Meeting on Tuesday was the manner in which Tail Light jumped the two fallen horses, Oil Surrey and Lady Montana,.at the .home turn in the Aldworth Stakes. It was only the quick thinking of ihe horse that saved him from also comine down, for there was not sufficient room for his rider to manoeuvre him out of trouble. ~_ i. n ,»„,«. Tail Light's .ractar over the .holidays has brought him to the top of his form, an! it is possible that he .will .be seen to Advantage if started m the highweight events at Trenthanrat the end of the month. He will probably return to .hurdle racing m or March for it is understood -that his mission at Easter will be. toe. Brighten Hurdles at EHerslie, in which case he will be handled by C,. V. Cmtoll. The Day Comet gelding has made rapid progress as a hurdler during the past six months, and it to possible that^one of the big jumping events will go his.way in the winter.
