(By Telegraph—Press Association.) TAUMARUNUI, This Day,

Early this morning a grocery shop owned by Mr. John C. Guy, and the adjoining public hall, owned by Carters, Ltd., sawmillers, at National Park, were destroyed by fire. Guy was away on holiday with his family, and the premises were left in charge of a caretaker. A piano, tables, and chairs, the property of the Waimarino School Committee, were saved from the hall. The cause of the fire is unknown.
