THE WAIRARAPA RESULTS ,
With fine weather and large attendances, the Wairarapa Racing Club's Summer Meeting at Tauherenikau on Saturday and yesterday was one of the most successful' fixtures the club has held in recent years. The track was fast on both days. The conditions yesterday were as near perfect as one could desire. The investments showed a substantial increase on both days, but last year the weather was wet. On Saturday the turnover was £23,759 10s, as against £19,221 10s last year, and yesterday it was £26,228 10s, as against £21,226 10s last year. For the meeting the aggregate was £49,988, compared with £40,448 twelve months ago, an increase of £9540. Results were:— FIRST DAY. Novice Stakes, £150; 6 furlongs.—l Golden Flame, 8.7 (W. J.
