WOMAN INJURED

COLLISION WITH TOWED CAR

PALMERSTON N., January .1.

Three cars were involved in a collision at about noon today a mile on the Foxton side, of Bainesse and Mrs. Gertrude Alice Tunnicliffe, wife of Mr. Cecil Tunnicliffe, school teacher at Kelvin Grove, Palmerston North, was taken to the Palmerston North Hospital. Her condition is satisfactory.

It is understood that a car owned by Mr. Greer, Tiritea, was being towed to Palmerston North and when it was passing a stationary car on the road a third vehicle, driven by Mr. Tunnicliffe from the direction of Pajmerston North, collided with the disabled car. Both cars were damaged extensively but Mr. Greer and his passenger and Mr. Tunnicliffe escaped injury.
