The president of the Wellington Bowling Centre (Mr. '. J. Casey) congratulated the teams on the excellence of their play. He congratulated both leads on their splendid play after only two seasons at the game. It was fifteen years since the Wellington Bowling Club had hadj the honour of winning the tournament but it had made up for that break by taking the two first places. Mr. Casey thanked the clubs for providing greens for the play, the umpires, the Press, and the centre's secretary (Mr. A. F.. Spiller), who, he said, was doing excellent work for the centre. Mr. P. Skoglund replied on behalf of his son and the other skips thanked the president for his remarks and congratulated the winners.
