CAST FOR "GIRLS' SCHOOL."

With the signing of George Offerman, jun., Charles Hart, and Stanley Brown, Columbia completes the large cast appearing before the cameras in "Girls' School," the romantic comedy which John Brahm is bringing to the screen, built around the activities at a fashionable school for girls. The featured roles are being played* by Anne Shirley, Ralph Bellamy, and Nan Grey. Others on the roster include Noah Beery, jun., Margaret Tallichet, Cecil Cunningham, Doris Kenyon, Marjorie Main, Ann Doran, and a score of pulchritudinous young women who will be seen in schoolgirl roles. It is being produced under the supervision of Samuel Marx. Mr. Offerman appeared prominently in such pictures as "Midnight Court," "Over the Goal," and Columbia's "Extortion." Stanley Brown, who was placed under contract when he applied as a candidate in Columbia's search for a player to take the role of "Golden Boy," made his stage debut at the age of three, in musical comedy, with his parents. Brown has played in .travelling stage units and has had several seasons of dramatic stock. In his college shows he had the leading roles, and after graduation joined the Hollywood production of "The Drunkard" as juvenile lead and master of ceremonies. This will be his first important picture role. s
