MR. PIROW'S VIEWS

INTERNATIONAL SITUATION

QUESTION IN COMMONS

(British Official Wireless.)

(^Received December 7, noon.)

RUGBY, December 6,

The statement made by the South African Minister of Defence, Mr. Pirow, on the international situation (published yesterday) was the subject of a supplementary question in the House iof Commons addressed to the Dominions Secretary.

Asked if the British Government would consult with Mr. Pirow on his statement with a view to a further statement at an early date Mr. MacDonald said that he would bear the suggestion in mind but that it was a matter primarily for Mr. Pirow and they must wait to learn from him the impressions he had gained from his conversations on the Continent.
