FORECAST
Winds. —South-westerlies prevailing at first but veering gradually to west and north-west; force mainly light to moderate but gradually increasing, and gale force probable in places later.
Seas. —Rather rough to rough on the west coast and about Cook and Foveaux Straits; elsewhere slight to moderate. Weather. —Fair to fine at first except for a few Isolated showers, more especially in the North Island. Later becoming unsettled in western districts and the far south with rain developing. Temperatures cool but becoming milder.
