PARTY FOR SISTER
Miss Theo Watt was guest of honour at a party given recently by her brother, Mr. Harold Watt, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. R. Scobie, Waipapa Road, Hataitai. The drawing-room was gay with poppies and sweet peas and the same flowers were used in the dining-room, where a savoury supper was served.
The guests were received by Mrs. Scobie, who wore a gown of black georgette relieved with silver, and Mr. Watt. The guest of honour was in apple green taffeta with cerise trimmings.
Those present were Mesdames Z. Brice, J. Meldrum, McKay, W. Williams, Misses Marjorie Fairway, Claudia Brice, Enid Kerswill, Adeline Hamilton, Noleen Douglas, Sheila FitzGerald, Pat Holcroft, E. Hardy, J. Meldrum.
