PARTY FOR SISTER
Miss Theo Watt was guest of honour at a party given recently by her brother, Mr. Harold Watt, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. R. Scobie, Waipapa Road, Hataitai. The drawing-room was gay with poppies and sweet peas and the same flowers were used in the dining-room, where a savoury supper was served.
The guests were received by Mrs. Scobie, who wore a gown of black georgette relieved with silver, and Mr. Watt. The guest of honour was in apple green taffeta with cerise trimmings.
