ROWING AT KOROKORO
Repeating their success of last year, the Petone Rowing Club on Saturday successfully met the challenges of the Star Boating Club and the Wellington Rowing Club in the Norton Memorial Cup Regatta, rowed on the Koro Koro course. Petone finished with 34 points, 5 points ahead of Star, who actually j gained the most first places. Wellington, who started out well, taking first place in the two opening events, did not figure prominently in the concluding races, and finished with 14 points. Senior Double Sculls.— Wellington (T. Hegglun, str., and J. Luke), 1; Petone No. 1 (K. Boswell, str., and R. Pritchard), 2; Petone No. 2 (J. Killalea, str, and M. Clark), 3. Won by one and a half lengths, with eight lengths between second and third. Maiden Fours. —Wellington No. 1 (A. Manning, str, K. Fish, N. Mathewson, and W. Morgan), 1; Star No. 1 (J. Toms, str, R. Hansen. T. Mahood, and S. Sidford), 2; Star No. 2 (M. Willis, str, J. Bullock, N. Rosy., ana J. Jack), 3. Won by three lengths, with half a canvas between second and third. There were nine crews in the race, including five Petone crews. Junior Pairs. —Petone No. 1 (F. Cassidy, str, and H. Parsonage), 1; Petone No. 2 (J. Boswell, str, and J. Tegg), 2; Star (L.
