REPRESENTATIVE TEAM
The women's cricket team to reprepresent Wellington against Canterbury in the New Zealand Hallyburton Johnstone Shield contest at the Basin Reserve, Wellington, on December 30 and 31. will be announced by the senior selectors of the Wellington Women's Cricket Association, Mrs. D. E. Simons and Mr. F. Sampson, at Prince of Wales Park on Saturday, after a match between the probable representative side and a team composed of "the rest." H. Buck will not be available for the representative fixture.
Both teams, which are subject to alteration, are as follows: — Probable Representatives.—l. Pickering (captain), M. Simpson (wicketkeeper), L. Harris, D. Hatcher, E. Daniells, E. Page, A. Ell, M. Rofe. J. Stenberg, P. Sampson, J. Holmes, N. Sheridan, and P. Pilcher,
