Because of the cricket carnival only C grade matches were played by the Hutt Valley Cricket Association on Saturday. Results were: — Eastbourne 125 for eight wickets declared (Hill 26, Bourne 21) beat V.M.C.A. 76 (Wells 29) and 58 for six wickets (Edwards 23). Bowling for Eastbourne, Bourne took four wickets for 28 runs, Robertson three for 4. For V.M.C.A. Pogson took five for 25. Trafalgar Park, 56 and 108 for eight wickets (Scott 28.
