The total amount applied for in tenders for £35,000,000 of Treasury Bills was £74,810.000. The average rate per cent, for bills at three months was 17s 11.03 d, against 17s 7.80 d a week ago.
At the corresponding date a year ago applications for £50,000,000 Treasury bills totalled £84,430,000, and the average rate per cent, for bills at three months was 18s 2.16 d.
