GILT-EDGED RECOVER

Business on the London Stock Exchange continues to dwindle. However, selling is rarely on such a scale as to seriously affect prices. Gilt-edged securities have recovered. New Zealand and Australian Government Stocks "dried up" in the middle of the week, but prices of these securities have not yet recovered.
