N.Z.A.A.A. HANDBOOK

The new handbopk of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic is now available. Officials and athletes alike will find in the eighty-nine pages comprising the book much of interest to them, for it gives the very latest information relating to the rules and rulings. The rules of the association, have been amended considerably since the book was last printed, in 1930, and for this reason alone the revised edition is something which all associated with athletics iri this country should have. The work of bringing the old handbook up to date was done by Mr. H. McCormick, hon. secretary of the N.Z.A.A.A., and an arduous job it was, involving meticulous care. Mr. McCormick has included an' index in the new book, which in itself is a valuable improvement. References, for example, appear on a number of pages in the book to different events and to the requirements, for records, and in the index these pages are set out so that there will now be no difficulty by a person seeking the rules on these matters being sure that he has the full information. •
