FIANCEE'S PROGRESS

WOODVILLE CANDIDATES

(Special from "Limited.")

HAWERA, December 2

Lord Cavendish has made a good recovery from the slight injury he suffered at Riccarton, and he is again doing steady exercise with a view to racing during the holidays. Lowenbergrfrom the same stable, is galloping in good style at present, despite apparent soreness after working.

R. Brough intends taking Naughty Marietta and Filbert to the Woodville Meeting, and both are shaping well in their daily routine. Naughty Marietta appreciates a roomy track, and she has previously been successful at Woodville.

In Command, Viracious, and Maahanui are also under orders for the Woodville Meeting, and H. Scally intends leaving early next week. Viracious has been responsible for some pleasing displays in his work recently.

Fiancee has been attracting attention of late with some fine track trials in company -with Lady Kyra, and there is no doubt that the former is on the improve. She appears to be staying on better than in the past.

Winsome Lv, who has been on the easy list for some time, has been recommissioned, and present intentions are to race her at the Stratford Meeting at New Year.
