NATIONAL BANK DIVIDEND.
The general manager of the National Bank of New Zealand, Limited, has received the following cable from the London office of the bank: —The Board of Directors of the National Bank of New Zealand, Limited, order payment of an interim dividend of 2J per cent., less United Kingdom income tax at 3s 7d in the £, in respect of the year ending March 31, 1939, payable in New Zealand on January 4, 1939. This distribution is equivalent to £5 Is 9d per cent, per annum in New Zealand currency. Share registers of the National Bank will be closed on December 8 for the purpose of the half-yearly interim dividend.
