WOBURN TOURNEY

A Wellington Club four, skipped by C. P. Cross, in which his son, K. I. Cross, the English singles champion, played three, S. Ingram two, and C. R. Ingram lead, won the one-day tournament at the Woburn Bowling Club s green from another Wellington Club four skipped by Newson.

There was a full green of 16 rinks, divided into two sections. Cross's four won one section and Newson's the other. The final was of seven heads, Cross's four winning 8-4.
