The Hon. W. E. Parry and Mrs. Parry were visitors to Stewart Island and Invercargill before leaving for Queenstown. Mrs. Norman Beetham, Masterton, with her granddaughters, the Misses Nora and Leslie Beetham, are staying at Paraparaumu Beach.
Mrs. Vivian Riddiford, "Woburn," Lower Hutt, will arrive at Auckland on December 11 by the Aorangi, from England and America.
Miss Maia Alexander, Napier, is visiting Wellington and is the guest of Mrs. E. Mcßeath, Aitken Street.
Miss M. Barnett, Christchurch, who has been appointed matron of Masterton Hospital, will spend a short holiday in Wellington before taking up her new post.
Misses Vivienne and Betty Blamires, Kilbirnie, have returned from a visit to Masterton, where they were the guests of Mrs. L. B. Maunsell, Opaki Road.
Mrs. Dan McKenzie, who had been the guest of Mrs. R. Maxwell, College Street, Masterton, has returned to her home in Lower Hutt.
Mrs. Charles Nathan and Mrs. M. M. Louisson, Auckland, who have been paying a short visit to New Plymouth, left yesterday for Wellington.
Her Majesty the Queen will attend an afternoon party tomorrow for officers from the Dominion Rhodes Scholars, Dominion and colonial men and girl undergraduates, and students at present in London.
Mrs. J. Felwyn and Miss Fay Felwyn, Palmerston North, are the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Bates, Strathmore Park.
At a recent executive meting of the Wellington Travel Cluff, Mrs. H. B. Oakes was appointed to represent the club on the professional committee of the women's section of the Centennial Exhibition.
Miss Vida Barron, St. Margaret's College, Dunedin, will leave tomorrow by the Arawa for a visit to England.
Miss Peg Ikin is the guest of Mrs. H. B. Gordon, High Street, Lower Hutt,
Miss Mary Finlay, Epsom, Auckland, arrived yesterday by the Akaroa from a visit to England.
Mrs. Lionel Nelson, Karori, Miss Kathleen and Mr. Guy Nelson, arrived at Auckland yesterday by the Akaroa after a trip to Britain and the Continent. They left by train for Paekakariki, where they willsstar; r before returning to Wellington.
Mrs. Roy Anderson, Invercargill, who is spending a holiday in the norths will leave Hastings on Saturday for Wellington, where she will spend a few days before returning south.
Mrs. Owen Monckton, Waingaroa, Hamilton, is visiting Gisborne, where she is the guest of her sister, Mrs. Randall Sherratt, Ngatapa.
Miss M. Fitzgibbons, Wellington, who is nursing adviser in New Zealand for the Plunket Society, is making a tour of inspection of all branches and is at present in Napier.
Mrs. D. McCready, Fitzroy, New Plymouth, has returned home from Wellington, where she was the guest of her daughter, Mrs. Colin Donald.
Miss Beth Manchester, Dunedin, who leaves tomorrow for England by the Arawa from Napier, spent a few days in Wellington on her way north.
Mrs. J. F. Norris has returned to Welling from a visit to Christchurch.
Mrs. Raymond Nottingham, Cashmere Road, has returned home after spending four weeks in Wellington.
Mrs. J. B. Lillico, who has been staying with Mrs. J. S. Satterthwaite, Timaru, has returned to Wellington.
The Misses Barbara and Leslie Chisholm, Napier, who have been visiting Mrs. C. E. Williams in New Plymouth, have left for Wellington.
Mrs. I. E. Cameron, Masterton, who has been spending the winter in Tauranga, is visiting Wellington before returning home.
Mrs. L. S. Hancock is a Wellington visitor to Auckland.
Mesdames E. Townend (Sydney), C. McLachlan, and Miss M. McLachlan (Dunedin), are among the guests at the Royal Oak Hotel.
