A DOUBLE DECKER
PAVILION AT KILBIRNIE
Already having shown enterprise and enthusiasm in the desire to have their headquarters adequately equipped, members of the Kilbirnie Cricket Club are on the job again with a working bee. This time it is also a building scheme, the plan being to make the pavilion (erected by voluntary labour) on the Kilbirnie Reserve a two-storeyed structure, the top floor to provide for a clubroom as well as a grandstand with accommodation'for 75 to 80 people. The work is under way, and many hands are expected to make light of it tomorrow in the hope of having the new building ready to be opened officially tomorrow week. The promoters of the scheme are' Messrs. Geo. Day (club president) and W. M. King (chairman of the management committee) and their lead in the work is being keenly followed.
