«. _ APPOINTMENTS MADE Appointments in both branches 'of the Royal New Zealand Air Force are announced in the Gazette as follows:— :; REGULAR AIR FORCE. Flight-Lieutenant John Reginald Shelton Agar, R.A.F.0., is granted a short-service commission with the rank of Flight-Lieutenant. Flying-Officer Eric Maple Lewis, RA.|*,O., is granted a short-service commissfoii with the rank of Flying-Officer (on probation) with three years seniority, and is posted to R.N.ZiA.F. Station, Wigram Aerodrome, for duty. Flight-Lieutenant Donald William Baird, (R.A.F.0., is granlted a shortservice commission as F,light-Lieuten-ant (on probation) in thie Royal New Zealand Air Force, and is attached to the Royal Air Force for a course of instruction at the School of Photography, Farnborough. Flight-Lieutenant Donald William Baird, R.N.Z.A.F., reported from overseas for duty, and is posted to RN.Z.A.F. Station, Wigcam Aerodrome. The undermentioned are confirmed in the rank of Flying-Officer:—E. B. Waters, E. A. A. Moen, J. R. C. Kilian. Harry Lumsden Tancred is appointed to the Reserve of Air Force Officers, Class A, Section I, with the rank of Flying-Officer. Flying-Otecer C. A. Turner, R.A.F., is granted "a short-service commission in the Royal New Zealand Air Force with the rank of Flying-Officer and is posted to the Royal Air Force Electrical and Wireless School, Cranweli, for instruction. Flying-Officer Arthur Beale Greenaway, R.A.F., is granted a short-service commission in the Royal New Zealand Air Force with the rank of FlyingOfficer and is posted to the Armament Training School, Manly, for specialist "A" course. TERRITORIAL AIR FORCE. Pilot-Officer (on probation) R. A. W. Coker, Equipment Branch, Wellington Territorial Squadron, is posted to the Unattached List and granted leave of absence for one year.

Flying-Officer K. G. Smith, Reserve of Officers, is attached to the Wellington Territorial Squadron.
