RELIEF FUND IN LONDON

LONDON, October 6,

Responding to a widespread desire, the Lord Mayor of London has opened a fund at the Mansion House for the relief of Czech refugees. He is requesting local authorities to do likewise throughout Britain.

A general response is reported to the appeal of the National Council of Labour. The Miners' Federation and the Post Office' workers have each given £1000.
