WELLINGTON CLUB'S
MEETING
It was the original intention of the Wellington Trotting Club to, hold its Cup Trial Meeting on Saturday, November 19, but as a result of overtures made by the Levin Racing Club, whose Annual Meeting is set down for the same day, the trotting club has agreed to amend its date and will now race on Saturday, October 29.
The avoiding of the clash will be appreciated by both racing and trotting enthusiasts in Wellington, who will now be able to patronise both gatherings. Further, the advancing of the date ..of the trotting. fixture will furnish enthusiasts with quite a gala, week in Wellington, for it will follow the Wellington. Racing Club's Spring Meeting, which will terminate on the Monday preceding.
