It was decided to hold the annual meeting-on the evening -of October 28, in the Englishspeaking rooms, when Mr. B; L. It was reported that a large numiie? of cases had. been dealt with during the "month. Some mothers With lat-ge families (one with'll" living;.but of" 13.) had been helped to obtain a:good home in place of a wretched habitation, and with legal advice to obtain'better cpnditions in regard to family affaires.
