MELBOURNE, This Day. Caulfield Cup scratchings are Genetout, Redborough, Denis, and Thuries Lad. , x Nuffield and Avenger returned to Melbourne and cantered at Epsom yesterday. Both looked well. Flood Tide impressed in running a mile and twenty yards in lmin 47sec at Mentone. Flood Tide will run in the Herbert Power Handicap on Saturday. The final acceptors for the Caulfield Guineas are:—Fort Regal, Brethren, Caragona, Destiny Bay, Caption, Raeburn, Hilton, Carpentier, Nuffield, Tregenna, Atticus, Tactical, and Dannevirke.
Toorak acceptors include Amigo, Ena Ena, and Riddle.
The Debutant Stakes field includes Xavier and Aranui. Limerick Lace, Benzonia, and Riviera are starters in the Debutante Stakes.
