DAVIS REDUCES TEAM
According to a Hastings report. Kobi has joined S. Reid's stable, as F. W. Davis has decided to train privately for Mr. W. H. Gaisford. It is understood that Francis Drake, after the Auckland Meeting, will join up with Mrs A. W. McDonald's Awapuni team. The Beau Pere —Mandane filly has gone to L. G. Morris, and Mr. G. M. Curries trio will in future be prepared at Wanganui. The difficulty in procuring labour is said to be the chief reason for Davis's. decision to curtail his string.
