ANGLO-FRENCH ACCORD
LONDON, October 3. - Mr. Chamberlain has sent a message to ttie French Premier (M. Daladier) in order to allay misgivings lest the Chamberlain-Hitler communique might be heralded as a weakening of AngloFrench collaboration.
The message says that he and Herr Hitler signed a declaration agreeing that their respective peoples were united in a desire for peace and friendly consultation on all differences, and that, closely united as are the hearts of the British and French, these sentiments are equally true of France and Britain/
Mr. Chamberlain expressed appreciation of M. Daladier's loyal and helpful co-operation, praising his courage and dignity as being worthy of France, and anticipating renewed Anglo-French cooperation to consolidate European /peace.
