BROADCAST SPEECHES
Advice has been received by Mr. W. Appleton, National candidate for Wellington Central, that his telegram to the Attorney-General giving the gist of the legal opinion obtained by him iv respect to the present arrangements for the broadcasting of political speeches and seeking approval to issue a writ for. an injunction restraining the Prime Minister has been referred to the Solicitor-General, Mr. H. H. Cornish, K.C., at Wellington.
