The friends of Mrs. Isabel Robertson in Wellington and Hawke's Bay will be interested to hear of her marriage at Bournemouth, England, on September 30, to Mr. Cecil Teschemaker, i formerly of New Zealand but now a ranch holder in the Argentine. Mrs. Noel Nelson returned by the Maunganui this morning after having spent several months in England. Mrs. Nelson returned via South Africa to Australia. With her was Miss A. Cookson, formerly matron of Wellington Hospital. Miss Cookson will leave for the south tonight. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Blundell, who have been spending about a month in Australia, returned this morning by the Maunganui. Mrs. Henry Hall returned to Marlborough by Cook Strait Airways recently, and will be absent from Wellington for several weeks. Miss M. Downie Stewart, Dunedin, who arrived by the Maunganui today with her brother, the Hon. W. Downie Stewart, is staying at the Midland Hotel.. Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Gl. Coleridge and Miss Coleridge left for Nelson yesterday, and will make a motoring tour of the South Island for about a fortnight. Br. and Mrs. Eric Luke, who have been visiting Wairakei and Rotorua, have returned to Wellington. Mrs. W. E. Barnard and Madame Feng Wang left by the inter-island steamer express for the south last night. They will be absent from Wellington for about a week, during which Madame Feng Wang will speak at several meetings in Christchurch. Miss £>. Campbell, Lower Hutt, who has been visiting, the Chateau Tongariro, returned yesterday by can Miss Elizabeth Frater, who has been visiting her mother, Mrs. J. H. Frater, Remuera, returned to Wellington this morning. Mrs. Vernon Sutherland and Miss Joyce Sutherland will leave by the Awatea for an extended tour in Australia. Mr. J. H. Gilmoui*, S.M., and Mrs. Gilmour, left with their small son last night by the steamer express for Christchurch. Miss Gwenyth Greenwood who has been making a short visit to Wellington, has returned to her home at New Plymouth. Mr. and Mrs. F. Turner; Wellington, returned by the Maunganui this morning from Sydney. Miss Molly Luke, Wellington, has returned to London from a very enjoyable holiday in Scotland, where the brilliance of the heather this year seems to have been more wonderful than ever, states "The Post's" London correspondent. She was at Braemar for the games. Miss Luke is still on the staff of the Reimann School and Studios, Westminster. Mrs. T. C. Rayner, New Plymouth, has accompanied her daughter, Miss Peggy Rayner, to Wellington. Miss Rayner will commence her training at the Public Hospital. Miss B. yon Dadelszen returned by the Maunganui this morning. Mrs. Cuthbert Freyberg, Palmerston North, is visiting her sister, Mrs. B. H. Edkins, Kerikeri. Mrs. A. J. Walker, Kiwitahi, Morrinsville, is visiting Wellington. Miss V. Churchhouse returned to Wellington by the Maunganui this morning after spending five months in Sydney. The Mataroa, which left Southampton on September 2, had among the passengers Miss M. A. Gannon and Miss A. M. Nathan, who are returning to Wellington, states "The Post's" London correspondent. Mr. F. de J. Clere, Wellington, with his daughter, his son, and the latter's wife, has had a very pleasant time in the United Kingdom, visiting many of the old Cathedral cities, writes "The Post's** London correspondent on September 15. Some 6000 miles have been covered in leisurely manner by car. Mr. Clere has relatives in England and many old friends. Moore has left for Auckland, where she will be the guest of Mrs. 3. Hilton, Herne Bay. Misa L. "Turton, Nelson, has been staying in Sussex with her cousin, Miss Rosemary Rees, who has a pretty country house on the famous and exhilarating Downs near Newhaven, states "The Post's" representative in London, writing on September 15. This week Miss Turton will visit Paris. She has a fairly early date in view for her return journey. Weekend visitors from Wellington to the Victoria League reception in Auckland included the Misses Irene Norris, Claire Longmore, Janie Turner, Mary Ross, Patricia Gledhill, Rene Beckway, Ruth Skerman, Dorothy Cox, Nancy Dixon, Patricia and Nancy Gillespie, Hilda Webster, Nancy Walls, Nancy Cramond, Marjorie Fyffe, Muriel Hunt, Ida Lockwood, Dorothy Cardy. They were accompanied by Mrs. J. A. Doctor, president of the Wellington branch of the Victoria League, and by Mrs. B. McKinlay, dramatic circle convener. Mrs. G. E. Morris, Mr. and Mrs. A. Mime, Miss M. L. Hazell, Mrs. J. Kendall, Miss E. J. Ives, Mrs. F. J. Goodman, and Miss I. Goodman are Wellington passengers from London by the Largs Bay, which left England on September 7, states "The Post's" representative. Mrs. F. M.
