NUFFIELD'S CUP RIDER
(United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) MELBOURNE, October 3. H. Badger has been engaged to ride Nuffield in the Melbourne Cup.. Royal Chief is expected to arrive next Monday. A decision regarding his Caulfield and Melbourne Cup engagements will be made after the rehandicaps are announced next week. Ajax looked well when striding out on the Caulfield tracks today. Gay Romance was galloped, on at Flemington, and injured her hind leg.
