The first musical event of any: mag- : nitude for the year will be a performance of Mendelssohn's Oratorio : Elijah by the combined Methodist ' choirs of the Wellington district, in the Town Hall, on February 19, as part ! of'the bi-centenary celebrations of the ; Methodist Church.
