FOLLIES FOR NEW ZEALAND.
A United Press message: from New York announces that Mr. Stuart Doyle has arranged for, J. J. Shubert (of the well-known-American theatrical combination)- arid Mrs.- Ziegfeld to tour Australia and New Zealand this year with the Ziegfeld Follies Company numbering 50. It is stated that 24 of the , original , Follies girls will be coming, and that 40 tons of scenery will be brought. Tentative dates are June for New Zealand,, and July ■ for Australia. Mrs. Ziegfeld, it willbe ■' remembered, is the-former Billie Burke, widow of the,late Flo Ziegfeld. She has .been*, seen in' several' talkies, specialising in "twittery" roles, and retaining' all the charm and youthfulness that made^ her 'famous as Billie Burke, of London arid New York.. ■ v
