TOKIO, June 8.

The Australian Associated Press agency interviewed the Foreign Spokesman, Mr. Tatsuo Kawai* on the subject of Mr. J. A. Lybns's conversation with Mr. Yoshida in London. ' Mr. Kawai replied that Mr. Yoshida had not yet reported to Tokio, but the apparent fundamental objective of the Australian proposal quita coincided with Japan's fundamental principle of non-aggression. However, he hinted that the Soviet's inclusion in a Pacific conference.might render Japan's participation difficult.

A cable from London published yesterday!, stated that the Japanese Ambassador in London, Mr. _S; Yoshida, and the Australian Prime Minister, Mr. Lyons, discussed the Pacific Pact proposal. Mr. Yoshida indicated that Japan is very friendly in her attitude towards it. .
