SEVEN-A-SIDE GAMES

The seven-a-side tournament conducted by the Wellington Women's Hockey i Association was concluded at Karori Park yesterday afternoon. In the senior grade final T.O.G. A defeated Paraparaufnu by 1 goal to 0, and in the junior final T.O.G. defeated Petone T.O.G. by a penalty corner. The Paraparaumu team, who were favourites for the senior filial, having defeated College Old Girls, last year's winners, earlier in the day, were in the final for the third year in succession, but lacked the finish that gave T.O.G. the necessary margin for a win. In the junior final five spells were necessary before the title could be decided, the decision going to T.O.G. by a penalty corner in the fifth spell. . .
