SOLD INTO SLAVERY
CHINESE PEASANT CHILDREN
LONDON, June 8,
The "Daily Mirror" reports that the Hang Chow Chief of Police, Commissioner Chao Lung-wen, who is attending the International Police Conference, stated that innocent peasant girls and boys are being sold into slavery in South Africa and Australia, the girls to houses of ill repute and the boys to work in the mines. He said that Chinese conducted the traffic.
