TOWNSWOMEN'S GUILD
A well-attended meeting of the Townswomen's Guild was held in the Victoria League room yesterday afternoon. The hostesses were Mrs. Kingsman. Mrs. Coad, and Miss Craig. Gratification was expressed at the large number of new members. The resignation of the present, Mrs. Angus, was received with regret, and Mrs. James Pow was unanimously elected in -her stead. A report from the convener of the Dramatic Circle, Mrs. Kingsman, was read, and promised well for the success of this popular circle. The Arts and Crafts Circle also reported that a good attendance was expected at their first meeting to be held next week. A dainty afternoon tea was served, j Among those present were Mrs. Rex I McCracken (secretary), Mrs. L. Watson, Mrs. Schneiderman, Mrs. J. Cooper, Mrs.' J. Preston, Mrs. Gibson Gray, Mrs. Campbell, Mrs. Bradstock, Mrs. Farmer, Mrs. Hendry, ■ Mrs. Yowen, Mrs. W. Scanmel, and Mrs. C. Crowther.
