WANGANUI NOTES
MEET AT "GREENBANK"
(From "The Post's" Representative.)
The last meet of the Kangitikei Hunt was at "Greenbank," the home of Mr. and Mrs. G. L. Marshall.. The field was kept continually on the move, running one hare for nearly an hour, .and several others for shorters periods. Heavy rain late'in the afternoon made the scent fail, and everyone adjourned to the homestead for afternoon tea. The only women riders were Mrs R. Fullerton-Smith on Target, Miss M. Marshall on Lady Blake', Miss Cynthia Wilson on Sir Glamis, and Miss A. Carey on Eockett Personals. Miss Joan McMillan, St. John's Hill, is visiting Wellington. Signor and Signora Marotta, who have spent the past six months in New Zealand, returned this week to Sydney, and will leave there at the end of July for Italy. Misses L. White and F. McGregor, Hamilton, are visiting their, friends at Wanganui. 1 Mrs. P. A. Bourke is a Patea visitor to .Wellington. Mrs. Hunter Strauchon, Waverley, is visiting Wellington.
