The treasurer of the New Zealand branch, B.E.C.C. Society (Inc.), Mr. R. Darroch. acknowledges with thanks the receipt of £500, a legacy bequeathed to the'society under the will of the late G. V. Pearce. Mr. Pearce was Member of Parliament for Patea from 190S to 1911.
