FAMOUS GODFATHERS
A unique record of powerful godfathers—President Hindenburg, Herr Hitler, and now General Goering—is held by the family of Franz Steinert, of Rheydt, Prussia. His wife has presented him with their fourteenth child,
a girl. Immediately he was informed, General Goering gave instructions that a monetary gift should be sent to th<> family, together with a message stating that he himself would be the child's godfather. Two older sisters have already as their godparents the late President Hindenburg and Chancellor Hitler, a distinction that no other German family possesses.
