UTAH! AND WAIWETU DRAW
Snow on the higher ground, and hail on the greens on exposed courses, with a biting southerly that made play in fours slow torture, met golfers after a pleasant, sunny morning on Saturday. Nevertheless, the Watt and Mary Alward Cup matches wer played, and other golf on most links. A visiting Titahi team drew with Waiwetu. while Waiwetu won the Ranish Cup by 7 games to 2, and 1 game squared. A visiting Manor Park team proved too strong for Paekakariki by 8 games to 3, with one game unfinished. Manor Park won every game in the Mary Alward Cup match at Paekakariki, but Titahi won every Mary Alward game at Titahi.
