"500" EVENING

Tn connection with the forthcoming Miramax Central School Fair, a very enjoyable "500" evening was spent at the home of Mr. and Mrs. V. Walker. 42 Aparima Avenue, Miramar, on Saturday. Over 40 guests were present. 'The rooms were tastefully decorated with autumn foliage and large log fires added a note of cheerfulness. During supper, the president of the School Association, Mr. Meichlem, explained the reason for the entertainment, as a result of which enough money was raised to stock a complete stall. Games and community singing brought the proceedings to a close.
