NUMEROUS PARTIES

Miss Margery Jones, of Lyall Bay, who is to be married shortly to Mr. Ivan Lake, has been the guest of honour at numerous tea parties. Miss H. Feasey was the hostess at a "pantry tea," when games and competitions were enjoyed. After tea had been served the guest of honour opened the parcels brought by the other guests, who. included Mesdames L. Jones, R. Feasey, L. Goddard, A. Bradley, W. Wakely, A. Lancaster, A. Jones, W. Revell, and the Misses L. Munger, J. Adams, R. Claridge, W. Fisk, M. Richardson, M. Simpspn, M.' Adams, L. Hannah. Lola Goddard, Sybil Lancaster, and Beverley Goddard. The Misses M. Richardson. V. Fisk, and M. Simpson were hostesses at another afternoon party, the bride-elect receiving many useful gifts for her future home. Those present were Mesdames Jones. Jackson, L. Goddard. Whitehead, and the Misses N. Ede, E. Malms, J. Adams, D. Simpson, N. Pickin, J. Pickin, and L. Munger. A "green kitchen tea" was given by Miss Munger at her home in Rata Road. Miss Winifred Oathani entertained the guests with, a musical item, and an excellent tea"was served, the table being decorated with carnations and early spring ilowers. The guests included Mesdames A., and L. Jones, Grant Jackson, Ryan, Hickman, Harris, and the Misses J. Clout, R.- Claridge. Swinson, Henry Oatham, M. Richardson, and V. Fisk.
