PERSONAL NOTES
Mesdames F. W. Butler (Christchurch,) G. Hamilton CRotorua), A. Morgan and F. Martin (Auckland), Miss M. Kilpatrick and Miss F. Graham (Auckland), and Miss N. Morgan (Hamilton) are guests at the Royal Oak Hotel. . ; Mesdames A. Potter and M. Morrison (Christchurch), F. E. Oakes (Nelson), A. J. Flower (Levin), J. J. Gallagher (Palmerston North), and Miss R. Cleavin (Dunedin) are staying at the Empire Hotel. Mrs. V. J. McKibbon (Christchurch) and Miss W. Scarlett (Cambridge) are among the guests staying at the Hotel St. George. Miss A. McTntosh, Hokitika. is visiting Wellington and is staying at tha Grand. Hotel, Mr. Humphrey Guy, organising secretary of the Disabled Sailors' and Soldiers' Mutual Association (Sasma), London, and Mrs. Guy, arrived in Christchurch from Wellington on Saturday, and are staying at Warwick House. Mrs. George M. White and Miss Valeric- White, Auckland, will leave at the end of the week for Wellington, to join the Remuera for England. They expect to return to New Zealand shortly before Christmas. Mr. and Mrs. Allan Lawson. Timaru, are the guests of Mrs. Alec Lawson, Percival Street. Mrs. Poole, Wellington, is visiting Waitara, and is the guest of her sister, Mrs. T. Carr. Mrs. R. W. Steele, Wellington, has taken up her residence for the next six months in Remuera, Auckland. . Mrs. W. Smith is an \Eltham visitor to Wellington. Mrs. C. N. Beasley, Wellington, will leave on Wednesday for Auckland, where she will join the Maunganui for Sydney, en route to England and the Continent. Mrs. Donald Dobson will leave Christchurch on Wednesday and will make her-new home in Wellington. Miss M. Carter, Wellington, was a guest at the Station Hotel, Auckland, for tha weekend.
