In view of the coming trials for the selection of the New Zealand Rugby team to meet the Springboks, ihis year's interprovincial matches are of greater importance than in any ordinary season. One of these events to take place this week is the meeting of the. Wanganui and Manawatu representatives at Wanganui on Wednesday. Both districts have strong candidates for higher honours, and they will be keen to give of their best in this match, which should be an excellent attraction for the holiday. The match is to commence at 10.30 a.m.
