GISBORNE, This Day.

The. death has occurred of Charles August Evans from injuries received on Wednesday when struck on the head by falling rock in a road cutting upon which he was working. The deceased, a native of Germany, came to New Zealand in 1904 and since 1910 was farming at Otoko.
